The first 90 days of a book

Most authors think a book begins the day they open a blank document. In our experience, the first ninety days are quieter than that — and much more consequential.

Before we take on a title, we spend those months mapping the reader, the shelf, and the shape of the book. Who is this for? Where will they discover it? What promise does the cover need to keep?

The answers rarely change the story you want to tell. They almost always change how the book is packaged, positioned, and paced — and that is what makes the difference between a book that arrives and one that lands.

About Publify Publishing

At Publify Publishing, we believe authors should understand their choices before making important decisions about their books. We work with authors through the publishing process while allowing them to maintain ownership and control of their work.

Whether you're preparing to publish your first book, working on your next one, or simply trying to understand your options, education should come before the sales pitch.

Because publishing a book isn't just about getting it onto Amazon. It's about giving your book the best possible beginning.
